Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) is used in this investigation.approach to detect hotwork hazards in the Steam Turbine Generator (STG) area at the coal-fired power plant (PLTU). It also employs Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to determine the underlying cause of the most significant RPN problems. The study approach consists of observation, interviews, distribution of questionnaires to STG employees, data analysis using FMEA, risk prioritization using the Pareto diagram, and root cause analysis using FTA. The research results identified 14 hotwork hazards. The risk of a beam lamp explosion has the highest RPN at 180, and the risk of an explosion is at 150 with a low category. With a cumulative total of 24%, the Pareto diagram shows that the risks of beam lamp explosions and explosions are the highest priorities.
