description: This research aims to improve the social skills of group B children at RA Nurul Amal Cilegon City through role playing methods. This research uses a quantitative approach with a one group pre-test post-test pre-experimental design. The research subjects were 10 children aged 5-6 years who were selected using the purposive sampling method. Data was obtained through a social skills questionnaire with 5 indicators: cooperation, assertive behavior, responsibility, empathy and selfcontrol. The research results showed that there was a significant increase in social skills after being given treatment through the role-playing method. The average social skills score increased from 6.8 to 16.9. The Wilcoxon test shows Z = -2.814b and the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.005, lower than 0.05, which means the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, the role playing method is effective in improving the social skills of group B children RA Nurul Amal for the 2023/2024 academic year.
