description: Self-love is a positive self-love, but it can turn negative if it has a tendency towards narcissism or egoism. Loving yourself means that humans care and are responsible for themselves. In addition, loving yourself is a learning experience for an individual to behave positively towards themselves. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of group guidance services using educational videos to increase self-love in students at SMAN 5 Kota Serang. The research method used was a quasi-experimental model experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. From the data collected, the researcher tested the hypothesis using SPSS 27 and 12 students were obtained in the low category. The sample was divided into 2 classes, namely 6 students as the experimental class and 6 students as the control class. The results of the study showed that the scores of students in the experimental class or those taught using educational videos were calculated to have a significant increase, which was 113% while the scores of students in the control class who were not taught using educational videos were calculated to be 39%. The results of the hypothesis test obtained through the Wilcoxon test stated that the probability <0.05 then the hypothesis was accepted. Referring to the hypothesis decision-making process, the value of 0.027 is lower than 0.05. which means the hypothesis is accepted (Ha). This shows that group guidance using educational videos can affect the increase in students' self-love.
