Nanopartikel Fe3O4 biasanya disintesis melalui metode konvensional yang memiliki keterbatasan dan dampaknya tidak ramah bagi lingkungan. Green synthesis merupakan pengembangan metode yang ramah lingkungan, aman, dan bersih untuk memproduksi nanopartikel. Ekstrak moringa oleifera (MO) dapat menjadi salah satu agen pereduksi alami dalam pembuatan nanopartikel magnetik. Pada penelitian ini nanopartikel Fe3O4 telah berhasil dibentuk menggunakan metode kopresipitasi dengan variasi komposisi pereduksi, nanopartikel Fe3O4 yang dihasilkan kemudian dikarakterisasi dengan menggunakan XRD, FTIR, SEM, TEM, dan VSM untuk menganalisa struktur, morfologi, serta sifat magnetnya. Penambahan ekstrak moringa oleifera (MO) sebagai agen pereduksi dalam pembentukan sampel Fe3O4 mempengaruhi warna serta jumlah sampel yang terbentuk. Hasil menunjukkan terjadi perubahan struktur seperti munculnya fasa Fe2O3 serta terjadinya pergeseran vibrasi ikatan Fe-O, elemen penyusun dan ukuran butir pada tiap sampel juga menunjukkan beberapa perbedaan, bukan hanya itu sampel yang telah terbentuk memiliki sifat magnet yaitu berupa soft ferromagnetic tetapi pada sampel dengan kandungan MO paling banyak tergolong ke dalam paramagnetik. abstract: Magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles have interesting physical properties such as magnetic properties in the form of superparamagnetic. Fe3O4 nanoparticles are usually synthesized through conventional methods that have limitations and impacts that are not friendly to the environment. Green synthesis is the development of environmentally friendly, safe, and clean methods for producing nanoparticles. Moringa oleifera (MO) extract can be one of the natural reducing agents in the manufacture of magnetic nanoparticles. In this study, Fe3O4 nanoparticles have been successfully formed using the coprecipitation method with various reducing compositions, the resulting Fe3O4 nanoparticles were then characterized using XRD, FTIR, SEM, TEM, and VSM to analyze their structure, morphology, and magnetic properties. The addition of moringa oleifera (MO) extract as a reducing agent in the formation of Fe3O4 samples affects the color and number of samples formed.
