Linguistics description: Researchers conducted this study with the aim of describing the form of contrastive analysis of Minangkabau and Indonesian in the process of affixation, describing the form of contrastive analysis of Minangkabau and Indonesian in the process of reduplication, and preparing an Indonesian Learning Implementation Plan in high school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method, data collection techniques using planned-structured interview techniques and literature, data validity checking techniques using investigator triangulation techniques, and data analysis techniques using intralingual techniques. Minangkabau language data was obtained from the results of planned and structured interviews with 8 Minangkabau people in the Haji Sanusi housing complex, Kramatwatu sub-district, Serang district, Banten province, and data in Indonesian was obtained from four books, namely General Linguistics by Abdul Chaer published by Rineka Cipta Jakarta in 2023, Morphology of Word Formation Process Study by I Wayan Simpen published by Bumi Aksara Jakarta in 2021, Morphology of Indonesian by Farida Ariyani Megaria published by Graha Ilmu Yogyakarta in 2018, and Minangkabau-Indonesian Language Dictionary Third Edition published by Language Center of West Sumatra Province in 2021. The results obtained from this study are 84 data consisting of 22 Minangkabau affixations, 24 Indonesian affixations, 16 Minangkabau reduplications, and 22 Indonesian reduplications.
