The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication on employee performance through teamwork as an intervening variable. Where the research method chosen by the researcher is a quantitative descriptive method with a total sample size of 132 people and data collection from respondents by simple random sampling. The data from the respondent's questionnaire was then tested and analyzed using SmartPLS software version 3.29. The results showed that emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication through teamwork mediation were able to optimize performance directly or indirectly.
