TikTok makes it easier for users to  get the latest information from various sources, but it also opens up opportunities  for the spread of false information or hoaxes such as false information about  presidential candidates in the 2024 election. This study aims to find out how media  literacy in Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University students about the 2024 presidential  hoax on social media TikTok. This research is qualitative and descriptive with the  theories used being media literacy theory and attribution theory. The results of this  study show that the media literacy of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University students  about presidential hoaxes in the 2024 election on social media TikTok is reviewed  from three skills, namely the ability to access, the ability to assess, and the use of  it. Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University students can access information about the  2024 presidential election hoax on social media TikTok through buzzer accounts  and reuploaders who cut or re-upload information content from other accounts.  Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University students assess information about the 2024  election fraud hoax on social media TikTok by identifying and verifying sources  and facts. Sultan Ageng Tirtayasasa University students use information about  hoaxes for the 2024 presidential election on social media TikTok actively and  passively.
