The company has experienced an increase in customer numbers and restructuring that has led to significant changes in several aspects, potentially impacting the psychological well-being of its employees. This study aims to explain the influence of mental workload on work fatigue, the role of work stress in mediating the relationship between mental workload and work fatigue, and to provide recommendations for improvement. The study employs the Rating Scale Mental Effort (RSME) to measure mental workload, the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS10) to assess work stress, and the Swedish Occupational Fatigue Inventory (SOFI) to evaluate work fatigue, utilizing Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) for statistical testing. The results indicate that mental workload has a positive (0.354) and significant (P-Value 0.000) effect on work fatigue, mental workload has a positive (0.726) and significant (P-Value 0.000) effect on work stress, work stress has a positive (0.444) and significant (P-Value 0.000) effect on work fatigue, and work stress exhibits complementary partial mediation.
