description: The background of this research is to find the deep cultural ecology contained in Wahyu H. R’s novel Autumn Bunga Kedaton by developing a plan for implementing learning in high school. Based on the explanation of this background, the authors conducted a study entitled, "Autumn Bunga Kedaton by Wahyu H.R and the Implementation Plan for Learning in High School". The purpose of this research is to (1). Describe the cultures contained in the novel  Autumn Bunga Kedaton by Wahyu H.R (2). Shows that there is a reciprocal relationship between humans and the environment contained in the Novel Autumn Bunga Kedaton by Wahyu H.R (3).Develop learning materials at the high school level. In connection with the research objectives, the research method used is descriptive exploratory. The data source for this research is the novel Autumn Bunga Kedaton by Wahyu H.R, published by Solo: Metamind, 2015. The data collection technique used in this study is a data collection technique. Based on suitability with literature learning materials in high school. Autumn Bunga Kedaton by Wahyu H.R can be used as learning material in high school because the cultural values contained in this novel also meet the criteria in selecting learning materials for appreciation of literature based on language, culture, and socio-cultural background which are arranged according to competency standards and basic competencies.
