Salah satu jenis alpukat di Indonesia adalah Alpukat YM dari Lebak. Tanaman alpukat YM belum banyak dikenal oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Hal ini disebabkan oleh ketersediaan bibit alpukat dan teknik budidaya tanaman alpukat yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair (POC) terhadap pertumbuhan bibit alpukat (Persea americana Mill). Penelitian ini dilakukan dari Februari hingga April 2024, di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Kp. Cikuya Karang Kitri, Desa Sindangsari, Kecamatan Pabuaran, Kabupaten Serang, Banten. Penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah jenis POC yang terdiri dari 2 level (POC kulit pisang dan POC batang pisang). Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi POC yang terdiri dari 5 level (0 mL/L air, 80 mL/L air, 160 mL/L air, 240 mL/L air, dan 320 mL/L air). Parameter pengamatan terdiri dari peningkatan tinggi bibit, peningkatan jumlah daun, panjang daun, luas daun, dan diameter batang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan POC batang pisang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap parameter diameter batang, di mana POC batang pisang memberikan pengaruh terbaik dengan rata-rata 1,09 cm. Terdapat interaksi antara jenis POC kulit pisang dan konsentrasi 320 mL/L air yang memberikan pengaruh nyata pada parameter peningkatan tinggi bibit. abstract: The avocado plant is a plant that can grow well in tropical areas and is a type of fruit that is popular with people in Indonesia. One type of avocado in Indonesia is YM Avocado from Lebak. The YM avocado plant is not widely known by the Indonesian people. This is caused by the availability of avocado seeds and avocado plant cultivation techniques which are not yet optimal. This research aims to determine the effect of the type and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) on the growth of avocado (Persea americana Mill) seedlings. This research was conducted from February to April 2024, at the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Kp. Cikuya Karang Kitri, Sindangsari Village, Pabuaran District, Serang Regency, Banten. This research was designed using a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors and three replications. The first factor is the type of LOF which consists of 2 levels (LOF banana peel and LOF banana stem). The second factor is the LOF concentration which consists of 5 levels (0 mL/L water, 80 mL/L water, 160 mL/L water, 240 mL/L water, and 320 mL/L water). Observation parameters consisted of increase in seed height, increase in number of leaves, leaf length, leaf area, and stem diameter. The research results showed that the banana stem LOF treatment had a significant effect on the stem diameter parameters, where banana stem LOF produced the best effect with an average of 1.09 cm.
