This research aims to find out whether creative thinking skills with a Realistic Mathematical Approach are better than an expository approach. The subjects of this research were 31 students in class V A, and 28 students in class V B at SDN Kapuk 14 Pagi. This research uses a quasi-experimental method. The form of quasi-experimental design used is Prettest-Posttest Only Control Group Design. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and independent sample t-test. Based on the results of descriptive statistical tests, it was found that the average score in the control class posttest was 50.00 and in the experimental posttest class was 81.21. This indicates that the average creative thinking ability in the experimental class is higher than in the control class. So, it can be stated that the creative thinking abilities of students who receive realistic mathematical approach treatment are better than students who receive expository approach treatment.
