description: This research aims to describe the similarities and differences in the structure of imperative sentences in Indonesian and Dutch and to develop teaching materials for BIPA.This research uses a type of qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method.The data collection technique uses the literature study method and the introspection method with basic reading techniques and advanced techniques of note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques use Pilah Elemen Penentu (PUP) and advanced techniques of Comparative Equating Relationship (HBS) and Comparative Differentiating Relationship (HBB) techniques. The data sources in this research are the book tata bahasa Belanda, lengkap, mudah dan praktis written by Lilie Suratminto (2005); Dutch Essential Grammar Edition 9 (2007) written by William Shetter; and Dutch : Comprehensive dutch (2009) written by Bruce Donaldson. The results of this study found similarities and differences between Indonesian and Dutch imperative sentences. The similarities between Indonesian and Dutch imperative sentence structures can be detailed as follows: (1) imperative sentence structure P; (2) P-O, (3 P-K. (4) P-S. In addition,differences in the structure of imperative sentences are found as follows; (1) in Indonesian the object is behind the predicate, while in Dutch it can be in front of the predicate; (2) in Dutch the predicate position can be at the beginning and at the end of the sentence separated by subject or object information, while in Indonesian it consists of only one predicate and can be at the beginning and end of the sentence. (3) In Dutch, the imperative sentence enhancer uses the subject, or the particles eens and maar, while in Indonesian it uses the subject and imperative  marker.
