The development of science and technology creates   new challenges for the world of education. The current curriculum forces students   to follow what is taught by teachers and what schools provide, not based on what   students like and are interested in. This kind of education system has been   abandoned by developed countries for a long time because it is not good for brain   performance and talent interests. the student himself. The Ministry of Education   and Culture, through the Serang City Education Office, introduced the   Independent Curriculum which focuses on important material and character   formation of the Pancasila Student Profile. The aim of this research is: "To find   out the Communication Strategy of the Serang City Education Office in   socializing the Independent Curriculum Implementation Program (case study of   the independent learning program)". This research uses qualitative methods and   is descriptive in nature. The results of this research show that: The Serang City   Education Office has tried to carry out socialization as best as possible by   adapting the language and culture in the city of Serang and has embraced various   elements of the student workforce to participate in the success of curriculum   renewal which has long been lagging behind other countries for the progress of   education in Indonesia, especially in Serang City.
