Pembelajaran SMK lebih mengutamakan penguasaan skill atau keterampilan yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan memang tujuan SMK adalah untuk mendidik siswanya supaya memiliki keterampilan sesuai dengan jurusannya yang diperuntukan belekrja di industri. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik pembelajarana SMK adalah model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang merupakan model pembelajaran yang bercirikan adanya permasalahan nyata sebagai konteks untuk para peserta didik belajar berpikir kritis dan keterampilan memecahkan masalah. Hasil belajar yang diperoleh tidak semata berupa peningkatan pengetahuan, tetapi juga meningkatkan keterampilan berfikir yang dapat diterapkan di permasalahan nyata. penelitian quasi eksperimen atau eksperimen semu (kuantitatif). Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar dikeelas eksperimen, dan adanya pengaruh hasil pembeljaran dikelas kontrol. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata – rata skor postest kelas eksperimen dan skor postest kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelaajaran Problem Based Lerning berbantuan Modul dan Jobsheet pada hasil belajar di mata pelajaran Instalasi motor listrik. Maka adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Leraning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata Instalsi Motor Listrik listrik abstract: This research is a quantitative study with a Quasy Experimental design which aims to determine the effect of using the Problem Based Learning learning model on student learning outcomes in the subject of electric motor installation. SMK learning prioritizes the mastery of skills or skills that must be owned by students. This is because the purpose of SMK is to educate its students so that they have the skills in accordance with their majors which are intended to work in industry.
