description: This research is a quantitative study with a Quasy Experimental design which  aims to determine the effect of using the Problem Based Learning learning model   on student learning outcomes in the subject of electric motor installation.  SMK learning prioritizes the mastery of skills or skills that must be owned by   students. This is because the purpose of SMK is to educate its students so that  they have the skills in accordance with their majors which are intended to work in   industry. One learning model that is in accordance with the learning  characteristics of SMK is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model   which is a learning model characterized by real problems as a context for students   to learn critical thinking and problem solving skills. The learning outcomes   obtained are not only in the form of increased knowledge, but also improve   thinking skills that can be applied to real problems. quasi-experimental research or   quasi-experimental (quantitative). There is a significant effect of using the   Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes in the experimental class,   and there is an influence on learning outcomes in the control class. This shows  that there is a significant difference between the average posttest scores of the   experimental class and the posttest scores of the control class using the Problem   Based Learning model assisted by Modules and Jobsheets in learning outcomes in   the Electric Motor Installation subject. Then there is the influence of the Problem   Based Learning learning model on student learning outcomes in the eyes of   Electric Motor Installation
