Before the implementation of the project-based learning model, students tended to be less active, had difficulty practicing dance movements, felt bored and fed up during learning, and lacked interaction in class both between teachers and students and between students themselves. In addition, there is a need to develop creativity and skill. The purpose of this study is to determine the learning process, the factors that influence it, and improve the quality of learning in the classroom. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the project-based learning model involved planning, implementation, and evaluation in 15 meetings, with results showing an increase in students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills. The use of audiovisual media and technology supports the effectiveness of learning. Other supporting factors include the active role of teachers, student participation, and school facilities and infrastructure. However, there are several inhibiting factors such as limited learning time and the availability of costumes or clothing. Thus, it can be concluded that learning using the project-based learning model can develop dance movement skills, increase students' learning motivation, and provide solutions to previously uninteresting learning. %Z Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masalah yang teridentifikasi, yaitu kurangnya partisipasi aktif siswa. Sebelum penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis project, siswa cenderung kurang aktif, kesulitan dalam mempraktekkan gerak tari, merasa bosan dan jenuh selama pembelajaran, serta kurangnya interaksi di kelas baik antara guru dan siswa maupun antar siswa sendiri. Selain itu, terdapat kebutuhan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas dan keterampilan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya, serta meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Adapun metodologi penelitian yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model project based learning melibatkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dalam 15 pertemuan, dengan hasil yang menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa. Penggunaan media audiovisual dan teknologi mendukung efektivitas pembelajaran. Faktor pendukung lainnya termasuk peran aktif guru, partisipasi siswa, dan sarana prasarana sekolah. Namun, terdapat beberapa faktor penghambat seperti waktu pembelajaran yang terbatas dan ketersediaan kostum atau busana. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan, bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model project based learning dapat mengembangkan keterampilan gerak tari, meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, dan memberikan solusi terhadap pembelajaran yang kurang menarik sebelumnya.
