Salah satu tanaman Zingiberaceae yang terancam punah adalah Zingiber odoriferum yang merupakan bagian dari daftar tanaman yang sangat terancam punah oleh International Union of Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources pada tahun 2018. Ada 14 aksesi Z. odoriferum dari berbagai tempat di Kebun Raya Bogor. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami morfologi dan keragaman genetik jahe Z. odoriferum menggunakan tujuh penanda ISSR. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari Desember 2023 hingga Februari 2024 menggunakan metode kualitatif dan deskriptif. Data morfologi disajikan menggunakan Analisis Komponen Utama (PCA) dan dendrogram, sedangkan data genetik hanya menggunakan dendrogram. Analisis morfologi menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga kelompok dengan jarak Euclidean 3,371 – 4,667 dengan warna kulit rimpang berkontribusi 64,123% terhadap keragaman dan warna daging rimpang berkontribusi 28,218% terhadap keragaman. Dalam analisis molekuler, ada empat primer ISSR dengan 100% polimorfisme, satu primer dengan 80%, satu primer dengan 83,3% polimorfisme, dan satu primer dengan 0% polimorfisme. Dengan dendrogram, ada tiga kelompok berkisar dari 0,5919 – 0,704 nilai dalam indeks kesamaan Dice. abstract: Biodiversity will positively affect the diversity of plants in Indonesia and two of the markers of plants are morphology and genetics of the plants. One of the endangered Zingiberaceae plants is Zingiber odoriferum which is a part of the critically endangered list of plants by the International Union of Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources in 2018. There are 14 accessions of Z. odoriferum from various places in Bogor Botanical Garden. This research was enrolled to understand the morphology and genetic diversity of the Z. odoriferum ginger using seven ISSR markers. This research was conducted from December 2023 to February 2024 using qualitative and descriptive methods. The morphological data was served using Principle Component Analysis (PCA) and a dendrogram, while the genetic data was only using a dendrogram. Morphological analysis shows that there are three clusters with the Euclidean distance of 3,371 – 4,667 with rhizome skin color contributes 64,123% of the diversity and rhizome flesh color contributes 28,218% of the diversity. In molecular analysis, there are four ISSR primers with 100% polymorphism, one primer with 80%, one primer with 83,3% polymorphism, and one primer with 0% polymorphism.
