description: The increasing number of students can result in an increase in the number of motorized vehicles in the Sindangsari Untirta Campus environment which can lead to global warming, due to increased CO2 levels from the remaining combustion of motorized vehicles and will later become an environmental problem. The Green Campus program is one of the solutions that can be applied to overcome the increase in motorized vehicle users.  The purpose of this study is to determine the parking characteristics at Untirta Sindangsari Campus, including (parking volume, parking accumulation, parking duration, parking turnover rate, and parking index) and to determine the need for vehicle parking space based on the existing characteristics in the parking area of Untirta Sindangsari Campus by collecting primary data through field observations and processed using literature studies.  The results showed that Untirta Sindangsari Campus has 9 parking pockets, with an area of 3962.5 m2 for car parking and 891 m2 for motorcycle parking. In terms of parking space unit and parking index value, parking lot 9 is not sufficient to accommodate the number of vehicles with an indication of parking index value of 161.9%. Parking needs in the next 5 years with the Green Campus concept of reducing land by 10%, 30% and 50% are not sufficient in parking lots 1 and 2 for motorcycles, parking lots 4 and 9 for cars, because the number of parking needs is greater than the available parking capacity. But it can be diverted to other parking pockets because there are still SRP that are not occupied by vehicles (available).
