note: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel cadangan
devisa, nilai tukar, inflasi, dan pdb terhadap impor barang konsumsi di negara
Indonesia dan Thailand. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Vactor eror
correction model (VECM) dengan periode 2012Q1 – 2023Q4. Hasil yang didapat
bahwa pada jangka pendek di Indonesia variabel cadangan devisa dan nilai tukar
tidak berpengaruh terhadap impor barang konsumsi, dan variabel inflasi dan PDB
berpengaruh terhdap impor barang konsumsi di Indonesia, sedangkan di negara
Thailand pada jangka pendek hanya variabel inflasi yang berpengaruh terhadap
impor barang konsumsi, untuk variabel cadangan devisa, nilai tukar, dan PDB
tidak berpengaruh. Untuk jangka panjang di Indonesia hanya variabel PDB yang
berpengaruh. Variabel cadangan devisa, nilai tukar, dan inflasi tidak berpengaruh
terhadap impor barang konsumsi di Indonesia. Sedangakan di negara Thailand
seluruh variabel berpengaruh terhadap impor barang konsumsi. Respon impor
barang konsumsi terhadap guncangan dari variabel cadangan devisa, nilai tukar,
inflasi dan PDB sangat berfluktuatif pada setiap periodenya.
abstract: This research was conducted to determine the influence of foreign exchange
reserves, exchange rates, inflation and GDP variables on imports of consumer
goods in Indonesia and Thailand. This research uses the Vactor error correction
model (VECM) method for the period 2012Q1 – 2023Q4. The results obtained are
that in the short term in Indonesia the variables of foreign exchange reserves and
the exchange rate have no effect on imports of consumer goods, and the inflation
and GDP variables have an effect on imports of consumer goods in Indonesia,
whereas in Thailand in the short term only the inflation variable has an effect on
imports of goods. consumption, for the variables foreign exchange reserves,
exchange rate and GDP have no effect. In the long term in Indonesia, only the
GDP variable has an influence. The variables of foreign exchange reserves,
exchange rates and inflation have no effect on imports of consumer goods in
Indonesia. Meanwhile, in Thailand, all variables influence imports of consumer
goods. The response of imports of consumer goods to shocks from the variables of
foreign exchange reserves, exchange rates, inflation and GDP fluctuates greatly
in each period.
