Setelah dilakukan observasi di MAN 1 Lebak serta melakukan observasi dan wawancara terhadap guru dan siswa di sekolah tersebut, ditemukan permasalahan bahwa pengembangan kemampuna berpikir kritis siswa belum dilaksanakan secara maksimal karena model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru saat mengajar masih menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pemnbelajaran discovery learning dengan media canva dan pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan media canva terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah kelas XI di MAN 1 Lebak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain “pretest postest control group design” dengan menggunakan dua kelompok yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Terdapat dua hasil penelitian, 1) Penerapan pengunaan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan media canva di MAN 1 Lebak dengan mengadakan 3 kali pertemuan, terdapat hasil siswa mampu belajar secara lebih aktif dan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, 2) Hasil hipotesis yang telah didapat menggunakan uji-T diperoleh sig. (2-tailed) = 0,01, sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hasil uji hipotesis menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan media canva terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI di MAN 1 Lebak. abstract: Students critical thinking abilities are one of the most important goals of carrying out learning activities so that students are better able to understand lessons and not just memorize them. After conducting observations at MAN 1 Lebak and conducting observations and interviews with teachers and students at the school, the problem was discovered that the development of students' critical thinking abilities had not been implemented optimally because the learning model used by teachers when teaching still used conventional learning models. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the application of the discovery learning learning model using Canva media and the influence of the discovery learning learning model using Canva media on students' critical thinking abilities in class XI history learning at MAN 1 Lebak. (2-tailed) = 0.01, so H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected.
