description: Anchovies are one of the key commodities with significant contributions to fish production at PPNK, but their production has shown fluctuations influenced by environmental factors and climate change. This research aims to analyze the dynamics of productivity and fishing season patterns of anchovy (Stolephorus sp.) fishing at the Karangantu Archipelagic Fishing Port (PPNK) during the period from 2013 to 2023. The data collection of anchovy production and fishing efforts from 2013 to 2023 was conducted on August 2024. The data was analyzed using the Catch Per Unit Effort (CPUE) method to determine productivity, as well as time series analysis to identify fishing season. The study also evaluates the fishing gear used and determines the Fishing Season Index (FSI) to categorize the season as lean, moderate, or peak. The results show that the boat lift net has the highest efficiency compared to other fishing gear. The seasonal pattern of anchovy fishing at PPNK shows variation, with peak seasons occurring between Mei until September and November until December. The study recommends regulating fishing efforts based on the identified seasonal patterns and the need for adjustments due to climate change impacts on anchovy productivity. The results of this research are expected to serve as a basis for more optimal and sustainable fish resource management at PPNK and to contribute to understanding the impact of climate change on anchovy fishing seasons.
