In conducting the research, the researcher used a quasi-experimental quantitative research method. The researcher used cluster random sampling for this research because of the selected researcher (quasi-experimental research). In this research, the population and the sample are the same because the school only has three classes of seventh-graders. The instruments in this research are the pre-test and post-test. The item tests were tested the validity based on course objectives on the syllabus of seventh-grade MTs Mathla’ul Anwar Dahu and the reliability using the IBM SPSS Statistics 23 application with the Cronbach Alpa formula. The main finding of this research showed the result of the Independent T-test from students’ score of the post-test that was 0.000, which indicated a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. The impact through the Look-Say method seems to be significant in student’s improvement in vocabulary mastery.
