This study aims to see the effectiveness of sociodrama techniques in improving student self-adjustment at SMPN 1 Kresek for the 2023 - 2024 school year. This research is motivated by the self-adjustment problems experienced by adolescents in their social interactions, which can affect their academic achievement and psychosocial well-being. This study uses a pre-experimental approach with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The research sample consisted of grade VII students of SMPN 1 Kresek. Data were collected using self-adjustment questionnaires before and after the treatment using sociodrama techniques was carried out. 10 students were selected by purposive sampling as research samples. This sample was then given treatment in the form of sociodrama techniques through group guidance for 5 meetings. The hypothesis test was carried out using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, and the results showed a significance value (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.005, which was smaller than the significance level of 0.05, so the hypothesis was accepted. The results of the study showed that the majority of students experienced an increase in the level of self-adjustment after being treated in the form of sociodrama techniques. This study provides evidence that sociodrama techniques are effective in helping students overcome the challenges of self-adjustment in the school environment.
