description: The Basic Telecommunications Laboratory is a crucial component in telecommunications education. In an effort to provide innovative and alternative approaches to practical learning, this research aims to develop a Virtual Reality (VR) application that can simulate a basic telecommunications laboratory, allowing students to conduct practicals virtually. The application is developed using Unity and Meta Quest 2, featuring interactive elements that enable users to interact with telecommunications equipment in a virtual environment. The design methodology used in this research is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Performance testing of the application is conducted based on stability and graphic quality aspects. Additionally, the application's reliability is tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and Virtual Reality Usability Evaluation (VRUSE) methods. The test results show that this VR application has good usability with an SUS score of 76.83, and the majority of respondents expressed satisfaction with the user experience. The application created has a high level of reliability from various aspects and is capable of effectively simulating basic telecommunications practicals.
