note: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan literasi lingkungan dengan pengelolaan sampah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2023 hingga Maret 2024. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas X MAN 2 Pandeglang tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Sampel ditentukan dengan random sampling sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 70 siswa yang berasal dari kelas X(3), X(4), dan X(5). Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes dan non tes. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran literasi lingkungan diperoleh 67% siswa masuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 66,32. Pengelolaan sampah diperoleh 44% siswa berada pada kategori cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 66,43. Selanjutnya, terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat antara literasi lingkungan dengan pengelolaan sampah dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,503 dan koefisien determinasi menunjukkan angka 0,243 yang berarti bahwa literasi lingkungan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 24,3% terhadap pengelolaan sampah.
abstract: This study aimed to determine the relationship between environmental literacy and waste management. This research was quantitative research with correlational method. This research was conducted from October 2023 to March 2024. The population of this study were students of class X MAN 2 Pandeglang in the academic year 2023/2024. The sample was determined by random sampling so as to obtain a sample size of 70 students from class X (3), X (4), and X (5). Data collection techniques in this study used test and non-test instruments. Based on the results of measuring environmental literacy, 67% of students were in the high category with an average score of 66.32. Waste management obtained 44% of students were in the moderate category with an average value of 66.43. Furthermore, there was a fairly strong relationship between environmental literacy and waste management with a correlation coefficient of 0.503 and the coefficient of determination showed 0.243 which means that environmental literacy contributed 24.3% in influencing waste management.
