description: This study aimed to determine the relationship between environmental literacy and waste management. This research was quantitative research with correlational method. This research was conducted from October 2023 to March 2024. The population of this study were students of class X MAN 2 Pandeglang in the academic year 2023/2024. The sample was determined by random sampling so as to obtain a sample size of 70 students from class X (3), X (4), and X (5). Data collection techniques in this study used test and non-test instruments. Based on the results of measuring environmental literacy, 67% of students were in the high category with an average score of 66.32. Waste management obtained 44% of students were in the moderate category with an average value of 66.43. Furthermore, there was a fairly strong relationship between environmental literacy and waste management with a correlation coefficient of 0.503 and the coefficient of determination showed 0.243 which means that environmental literacy contributed 24.3% in influencing waste management.
