note: Tradisi masyarakat Betawi di era modern ini sangat luntur perkembangannya, dengan generasi muda yang mulai melupakan warisan budayanya dan yang melatarbelakangi fenomena ini adalah sikap pemerintah daerah dalam menangani lunturnya tradisi masyarakat betawi di era modern ini. Tujuan Penelitian ini dilakukan ada tiga poin utama yaitu: (1) Untuk mengetahui kondisi tradisi masyarakat Betawi di era modern. (2). Untuk mengetahui penyebab masyarakat Betawi meninggalkan tradisinya di era modern. (3). Untuk mengetahui cara untuk melestarikan tradisi Betawi oleh masyarakat dan Budayawan Betawi di era modern. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian memiliki hasil kesimpula pada  tiga poin utama: (1). Kondisi Tradisi Masyarakat Betawi menurun di era modern. (2). Peran Lembaga Kebudayaan Betawi. (3). Upaya Lembaga Kebudayaan Betawi.
abstract: The Betawi community's traditions have significantly declined in modern times, with the younger generation starting to forget their cultural heritage. The underlying cause of this phenomenon is the local government's approach to handling the decline of Betawi traditions in the modern era. The objectives of this study are threefold: (1) To assess the condition of Betawi community traditions in the modern era. (2) To identify the reasons why Betawi people are abandoning their traditions in the modern era. (3) To explore ways in which Betawi traditions can be preserved by the community and Betawi cultural experts in the modern era. This research employs a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The study draws conclusions on three main points: (1) The decline of Betawi community traditions in the modern era. (2) The role of Betawi cultural institutions. (3) Efforts by Betawi cultural institutions.
