note: Komunikasi terapeutik merupakan suatu keterampilan yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap perawat untuk membantu mempercepat proses penyembuhan. Namun adakalanya pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik tidak dapat dijalankan secara optimal karena tingginya beban kerja perawat. Beban kerja yang berat dapat berdampak pada kinerja perawat dalam melakukan asuhan keperawatan, salah satunya adalah komunikasi terapeutik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara beban kerja perawat dengan pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik di ruang rawat inap RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak 117 orang perawat. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden mengalami beban kerja cukup tinggi (53.8%), sebagian besar responden melaksanakan komunikasi terapeutik dengan baik (92.3%). Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara beban kerja perawat dengan komunikasi terapeutik (p=4.724). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah walaupun beban kerja cukup tinggi, perawat ruang rawat inap RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung tetap melaksanakan komunikasi terapeutik dengan baik
abstract: Therapeutic communication is a skill that every nurse must have to help speed up the healing process. However, sometimes the implementation of therapeutic communication cannot be carried out optimally because of the high workload of nurses. A heavy workload can have an impact on nurses' performance in providing nursing care, one of which is therapeutic communication. This study aims to determine the relationship between nurses' workload and the implementation of therapeutic communication in the inpatient room at RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung. This type of research is descriptive with a cross sectional approach. The sample taken for this research used purposive sampling as many as 117 nurses. The analysis technique used in this research is chi square. The research results showed that the majority of respondents experienced a fairly high workload (53.8%), the majority of respondents carried out therapeutic communication well (92.3%). The results of this study also showed that there was no significant relationship between nurse workload and therapeutic communication (p=4.724). The conclusion of this research is that even though the workload is quite high, the inpatient nurses at RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung continues to carry out therapeutic communication well.
