description: This study aims to determine the response of growth and yield of several varieties of cayenne pepper (Capsicum sp.) to salinity stress in nutrient culture. This research consists of two factors. The first factor is the concentration of NaCl salt and the second factor is the variety of cayenne pepper. The use of three varieties of cayenne pepper under salinity stress gave a relatively similar appearance based on the value of the Stress Sensitivity Index (ISC) where the three varieties used were tolerant to salinity. Influence on the parameters of growth and yield of the first observed harvest. There was an interaction between the treatment of cayenne pepper varieties with salinity stress on the parameters of plant height 28 DAP, number of branches 28 DAP, stem diameter, flowering age, root volume, root wet weight, root dry weight, crown wet weight, crown dry weight, number of fruits. first harvest and first harvest fruit weight.
