Novels are related to speech. Through this speech, the speakers can convey information to their speech partners as a means of communication. To find out the meaning and purpose in the speech of the novel, it is possible to identify each speech using the theory put forward by speech act experts, one of which is the speech act theory classified by Searle. The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the types of directive speech acts in the novel Anak Rantau by Ahmad Fuadi and (2) to compile a lesson plan in high school based on the analysis of directive speech acts in the novel Anak Rantau by Ahmad Fuadi. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The research data was collected using the observation method with basic techniques in the form of tapping techniques and advanced techniques in the form of note-taking techniques. The data in this study are utterances included in directive speech acts found in the novel Anak Rantau by Ahmad Fuadi. Based on the data analysis that has been done, 42 data from the novel Anak Rantau are included in directive speech acts. Types of directive speech acts found were as follows: (1) speech acts ordered as many as 7 data, (2) speech acts commanded as many as 23 data, (3) speech acts requested as many as 9 data, (4) speech acts advised as many as 2 data, and (5) the speech act recommends 1 data. The results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that ordering is a speech asking for something to be done by the speech partner, ordering is a speech to tell the speech partner to do something, asking is a speech to expect something from the speech partner, advising is a speech giving advice to the speech partner, and recommending is a speech to provide suggestions that can be considered by speech partners. Based on the results of this study, the researcher compiled a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) related to learning material in class XI SMA. Keywords: Directive Action, Novel, RPP abstract: Penelitian ini mengkaji tindak tutur direktif dalam novel Anak Rantau karya Ahmad Fuadi. Novel berkaitan dengan tuturan. Melalui tuturan tersebut penutur dapat menyampaikan suatu informasi kepada mitra tuturnya sebagai alat komunikasi. Untuk mengetahui makna dan tujuan dalam tuturan novel tersebut, maka dapat dilakukan cara mengidentifikasi setiap tuturan dengan menggunakan teori yang dikemukakan oleh para ahli tindak tutur, salah satunya yaitu teori tindak tutur yang diklasifikasikan oleh Searle. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu, (1) Mendeskripsikan jenis tindak tutur direktif dalam novel Anak Rantau karya Ahmad Fuadi dan (2) Menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran di SMA berdasarkan hasil analisis tindak tutur direktif dalam novel Anak Rantau karya Ahmad Fuadi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik dasar berupa teknik sadap dan teknik lanjutan berupa teknik catat. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan yang termasuk dalam tindak tutur direktif yang ditemukan dalam novel Anak Rantau karya Ahmad Fuadi. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, tuturan dalam novel Anak Rantau yang termasuk dalam tindak tutur direktif ditemukan sebanyak 42 data. Jenis tindak tutur direktif yang ditemukan sebagai berikut: (1) tindak tutur memesan sebanyak 7 data, (2) tindak tutur memerintah sebanyak 23 data, (3) tindak tutur memohon sebanyak 9 data, (4) tindak tutur menasihati sebanyak 2 data, dan (5) tindak tutur merekomendasi sebanyak 1 data. Hasil dari analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa memesan adalah tuturan untuk meminta supaya dilakukan sesuatu oleh mitra tutur, memerintah adalah tuturan untuk menyuruh mitra tutur melakukan sesuatu, memohon adalah tuturan untuk mengharapkan sesuatu kepada mitra tutur, menasihati adalah tuturan memberikan nasihat kepada mitra tutur, dan merekomendasi adalah tuturan untuk memberikan saran yang dapat dipertimbangkan oleh mitra tutur.
