Abstract
Technology in education used to help teachers in the learning process in the classroom. Selection of appropriate technology as a learning media can help students solve problems in learning and understanding the material well. The purpose of the research is to develop Interactive Animation Learning Media "Ekspedisi Matematika" (Eksmat) Based On Problem Solving Method and test their feasibility. Learning media that developed is a learning media that uses animation and problem solving steps in the material presentation. Problem solving steps that used are: understanding the problems, plan solutions, solve the problem according the plan, and check back the solutions. This research was conducted in accordance with research and development procedures. The development model in this research involves seven stages, namely: the potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product testing, and product revisions. To determine the feasibility of interactive animation learning media based on problem solving method performed design validation and product trials. At this stage of design validation conducted three tests to some experts, namely: two multimedia experts, two mathematicians, and two education experts. Product trials conducted on 1-3 class involving 12 students of SMPN 2 Cilegon. The result of product trials showed a total percentage of 86,83% questionnaires, so interactive animation learning media based on problem solving method eligible to be used as a learning media.
