Abstract

This study aimed to determine student is learning outcomes through model guide inquiry on ecosystem concepts in class VII SMPN 4 Malingping. The method used in this study was descriptive by using an objective test questions, questionnaires and observation sheets as an instrument. This research was conducted in SMPN 4 Malingping VII class second semester of the school year 2013/2014. The sample used in this study were students of class VII A. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Based on the results of research conducted shows of students' motivation abilities was 79,12 with good category, cognitive abilities was 73,33 with good category and psychomotor abilities was 88,14 with very good category. It can be concluded that motivation and cognitive abilities of students by using a model including both guide inquiry into good category, average psychomotor abilities of students into very good category. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada konsep ekosistem kelas VII SMPN 4 Malingping. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan soal tes objektif, angket dan lembar observasi sebagai instrumen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 4 Malingping kelas VII semester II tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa yaitu 79,12 dengan kategori baik, kemampuan kognitif siswa yaitu 73,33 dengan kategori baik dan kemampuan psikomotor yaitu 88,14 dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar dan kemampuan kognitif siswa dengan menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing keduanya termasuk ke dalam kategori baik, sedangkan kemampuan psikomotor siswa termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik.
