Abstract
The new innovation for convert solar energy into electrical energy are use a stirling engine. Use sun's heat to generate temperature difference between the hot and cold on a stirling engine we've got the mechanical energy of a stirling engine that is used to turn a generator. The study purpose is design prototype stirling engine with a capacity of 7 Watt and Experimental setup to know performance rpm, torque and power of the prototype stirling engine. The analysis are using the method of experiment with a heat source stove and heat solar collectors. The results power are 7.466 Watt using a heat source stove and 4.83 Watt using a solar collector heat source and a torque of 76.56 x 10-2 Nm. Keywords: stirling engine, solar collectors, energy
