Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi perencanaan yang dilakukan oleh Pizza Hut cabang Pasar Kemis Tangerang dalam membuka dan mempertahankan cabangnya di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Strategi Perencanaan Public Relations (Konsep Nine Steps PR Strategy) oleh Ronald D.Smith.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis SWOT dan paradigma post-positivisme. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan triangulasi data dari wawancara mendalam (in-depth interviewing), observasi langsung dan dokumentasi. Informasi dan data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan Manager Restaurant, Assistant Manager dan Crew Pizza Hut Cabang Pasar Kemis serta dua orang informan dari pihak eksternal yaitu customers/konsumen Pizza Hut Pasar Kemis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi perencanaan yang dilakukan oleh Pizza Hut Pasar Kemis sudah menerapkan sebagian besar tahapan dari teori yang digunakan, walaupun ada beberapa step/tahap yang kurang diperhatikan secara matang.

Additional Information: This study aims to analyze the planning strategy carried out by Pizza Hut Pasar Kemis Tangerang branch in opening and maintaining its branches during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses the Theory of Public Relations Planning Strategy (Nine Steps Concept of Public Relations Strategy) by Ronald D. Smith. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach with SWOT analysis method and post-positivism paradigm. The data collection technique uses data triangulation from in-depth interviews, direct observation and documentation. Information and research data were obtained through interviews with Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager and Crew Pizza Hut Pasar Kemis Branch as well as two informants from external parties, namely Pizza Hut Pasar Kemis customers/consumers. The results of this study indicate that the planning strategy carried out by Pizza Hut Pasar Kemis has implemented most of the stages of the theory used, although there are several steps that have not been carefully considered.
