Abstract
This research aims to increase the activity and learning achievement of students through outcomes using learning model of CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning until it reaches at least 75%. This research is Class Action Research (CAR), does on two in every cycle consisted, each cycle was done with two meetings each cycle done with four phase, there are planning phase, implementation phase, observation phase and reflection phase. The data collection techniques in this study were by using test instruments, observations of teacher and students’ learning activities, as well as the questionnaire. In the first and second cycle meeting, the number of students who attended the class was 34 students, By the implementation of CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning), students’ learning activities and learning outcomes increased. In the first cycle, the average of students' learning activities was 74,44 % and in the second cycle increased to be 84.80 %. Likewise, the average of student learning outcomes, from 71,32 % in the first cycle increased to be 86% in the second cycle. So that conclusions can be drawn from this study that the implementation of CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning), can increase students' learning activities and learning outcomes on Social subject in third grade of Elementary School Banjar Agung 4. Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) hingga mencapai minimal 75%. Jenis pada penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang dilakukan dengan 2 tahap siklus penelitian, dimana pada setiap siklusnya dilakukan dengan dua pertemuan. Tiap siklus dilakukan dengan empat tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi, dan tahap refleksi. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan instrumen tes, instrumen observasi aktivitas belajar guru dan aktivitas belajar siswa, serta instrumen angket. Pada siklus pertama dan kedua jumlah siswa hadir semua 34 siswa. Dengan diterapkannya model CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning), aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat. Pada siklus I rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa 74,44% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 84,80%. Begitupun dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa, dari 71.32% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 86% pada siklus II. Sehingga simpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini bahwa dengan diterapkannya model CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri Banjar Agung 4.
