Abstract
This research is motivated by a problem that is in presenting the material especially the social scince subjects using the lecturemethod does not vary with other methods, student feel bored and apathetic, student are not given the opportunity to interact so low student activity and influence on learning outcomes of low. The purpose of this action is performed to determine the activity of students by using a model of cooperative learning tipe guide note taking on the subjects of social science and improve learning outcomes using the model cooperative learning tipe guide note taking on the subjects of social science. This study was conducted in two cycles that place on 05 and 12 September 2014 and cycle two on 19 and 26 September 2014. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study that tests students learning outcomes and student activity. Activity and learning outcomes of students has increased at each cycle. In cycle 1 the first meeting by 64,2% and the second meeting 66,6%. In cycle II the first meeting by 83,3% and the second meeting by 100%. Learning outcomes in cycle I received average scores 61,4 with minimum complenteness criteria 69,6% and in cycle II received average 82,7 with minimum complenteness criteria 93,4%. Thus been proven that learning of social science by using the model cooperative learning tipe guide note taking can increase the activity and student learning outcomes in subject social science class V SDN Citiis. | Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya masalah yaitu dalam menyampaikan materi khususnya mata pelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan metode ceramah tidak memvariasikan dengan metode lain, siswa merasa bosan dan kurang antusias, siswa tidak diberi kesempatan untuk berinteraksi sehingga aktivitas siswa rendah dan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar yang rendah. Tujuan tindakan ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe guide note taking pada mata pelajaran IPS dan meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe guide note taking pada mata pelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang berlangsung pada tanggal 05 dan 12 September 2014 serta siklus II pada tanggal 19 dan 26 September 2014. Setiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu pengamatan aktivitas siswa dan tes hasil belajar. Aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I pertemuan ke-I sebesar 64,2% dan pertemuan ke-2 sebesar 66,6%. Pada siklus II pertemuan ke-1 83,3% dan pertemuan ke-2 100%. Hasil belajar pada siklus I mendapat nilai rata-rata 61,4 dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimum 69,6% dan pada siklus II mendapat nilai rata-rata 82,7 dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimum 93,4%. Dengan demikian, telah terbukti bahwa pembelajaran IPS dengan mengunakan model cooperative learning tipe guide note taking dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V SDN Citiis.
