Abstract

This research was conducted on SDN 2 Gerogol aimed at assesingthe learning process of the student grade IV in order to provide guidance on the preparation of the most important part in a social problems to the social studies, this is necessary because they say that they do not understand in the manufacture of social problems so necessary to the provision of a social problems materials in using cooperative learning model to be more Picture and Picture. In this activity, the researchers used a class action (PTK) conducted teo cycles each cycle there are 2 meetings and 2 times the test. Data collected through test, observation sheets, interview, and documentation. Data obtained by the learning outcomes and student activity data for social studies. At the first meeting in the first cycle of activity results of the students during the learning process social studies with cooperative learning model Picture and Picture only by 64% at the second meeting in this first cycle the observation of student activity obtained result scale persentage of student learning activities, namely 70%, and thenAt the first meeting in the second cycle of activity results of the students during the learning process social studies with cooperative learning model Picture and Picture only by 79% at the second meeting in this second cycle the observation of student activity obtained result scale persentage of student learning activities, namely 88%. Then there is an increase in student learning activities amounted to 9%. Keywords : official letter social studies, social problems, kooperative learning model picture and picture.
