Abstract
This paper attempts to examine the link between voter educators and citizenship politics on the one hand, while on the other hand linking voter education with strengthening democracy. This perspective is very different from the study of voter education, which places the election as its central focus. For writers, voter education needs to be extended its meaning by linking the politics of citizenship and democracy. Voter education contributes to creating citizens who are smart, critical, and rational in using their political rights. At the same time, independent and free in voicing their demands, desires and political interests. Furthermore, the results of voter education enable citizens to exercise control over the performance of government in carrying out their duties and functions. In other words, voter education will increase the capacity of citizens when dealing with government. Keywords: Democracy; Citizenship; and Voter Educators.
