Abstract
Hoax, fake news and false news is now a necessity that must be faced by people in this digital era. The production of false or false news can not be separated from the post-truth phenomenon, where truth no longer relies on fact but on subjective perspective (politics, religion, class, etc.). This phenomenon has put people into a situation of mutual suspicion. Audience can no longer tell which news or information is valid, which one is hoaxes. Post-truth phenomena can not be resisted by clarifying, because the opposite of post-truth is not the truth itself. Fact checking is the main instrument against post-truth.
