Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kemampuan kognitif siswa SMA pada konsep fungi dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Advance Organizer. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain pra- eksperimental one shoot case study. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAS Al- Irsyad Banten pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X SMAS Al-Irsyad Banten dengan sampel penelitian kelas X-IPA-1 yang ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Data diperoleh melalui tes objektif dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan kognitif siswa sebesar 71,35 pada kategori baik dengan angka ketuntasan tertinggi pada Indikator Pencapaian Kompetensi (IPK) 3.7.5 yaitu mendeskripsikan ciri-ciri umum dan cara reproduksi Chytridiomycetes serta mengaitkan peranannya dalam kehidupan sebesar 83,30 dengan kategori baik sekali, sedangkan angka ketuntasan terendah sebesar 59,30 dengan kategori sedang pada IPK 3.7.4 yaitu mengidentifikasi macam-macam fungi berdasarkan karakteristik yang dimiliki dan 3.7.8 yaitu mendeskripsikan ciri-ciri umum dan cara reproduksi Ascomycetes serta mengaitkan peranannya dalam kehidupan. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan kognitif tertinggi pada jenjang C1 (mengingat) sebesar 78,50 berada pada kategori baik, sementara terendah pada jenjang C4 (menganalisis) sebesar 58,50 berada pada kategori sedang. Maka disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Advance Organizer dapat menunjang ketercapaian hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada konsep fungi.

| Additional Information: | This study aims to determine the cognitive profile of high school students in the fungi concept by applying the Advanced Organizer learning model. The method used is quantitative descriptive research with a pre-experimental one shoot case study design. This research was conducted at Al-Irsyad Banten Senior High School in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The population of this study were all students in the 10th grade of Al-Irsyad Banten High School with the X-IPA-1 class of research samples determined by random sampling techniques. Data obtained through objective tests and observation sheets. The results showed that the average cognitive ability of students was 71.35 in the good category with the highest completeness number in the Indicator of Competency Achievement (GPA) 3.7.5 which is describing the general characteristics and reproduction of Chytridiomycetes and linking their role in life by 83, 30 with a very good category, while the lowest completeness rate is 59.30 with a moderate category in GPA 3.7.4 which is identifying various fungi based on their characteristics and 3.7.8 which is describing the general characteristics and ways of reproduction of Ascomycetes and linking their roles in life. The average value of the highest cognitive abilities at the C1 level (remembering) of 78.50 is in the good category, while the lowest at the C4 level (analyzing) of 58.50 is in the moderate category. Then it was concluded that the Advanced Organizer learning model can support the achievement of students' cognitive learning outcomes in the concept of fungi. | |||||||||
