Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pengenalan tentang kesenian terebang gede terhadap masyarakat Desa Panggung Jati mengenai gambaran umum kesenian terebang gede dan belum ada referensi tentang pola tabuhan musik terebang gede. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran umum kesenian terebang gede dan pola tabuhan terebang gede di Sanggar Panggung Jati. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Desktiprif Kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi sumber tertulis dan sumber lisan wawancara, teknik analisis data terdiri dari identifikasi, inventarisasi, klasifikasi, analisis, dan menyimpulkan data. Objek dalam penelitian yaitu Sanggar Panggung Jati yang beralamat di Desa Panggung Jati, Lingkungan Panggung Jati RT/RW 01/03, Kecamatan Taktakan, Kota Serang Banten. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kesenian terebang gede Sanggar Panggung Jati sudah berdiri setelah masa Kesultanan Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa yang merupakan penerus keturunan ke-7 dari awal mula terbentukya Sanggar Panggung Jati. Kesenian terebang gede mengalami perkembangan fungsi, yaitu kesenian yang bersifat keagamaan menjadi hiburan. Adapun pola tabuhan terebang gede ini memiliki pola tabuhan yang sederhana dan tidak memiliki motif tabuhan yang bervariasi.

| Additional Information: | The Background of this study are : the society of Panggung Jati village had low general identification of Terbang Gede and there were not some resources for model Tabuhan Terbang Gede it self. However, this study aims at investigating about the general identification of Terbang Gede and Model of Tabuhan Terebang Gede at Sanggar Panggung Jati ( art galerry of Panggung Jati ). Meanwhile, the Research methodology that was used on this research is descriptive qualitative method. There were some research instruments that were used on this research. First, written resource and oral resource, and the last is an Interview. Then, The data analysisy technique that were used on this reserach. First, identification, scond, inventory. Third, classification . Fourthc an analysisy, and data conclusion. The object of this study was Sanggar Panggung Jati which located at Panggung Jati Village, Rt/Rw 01/03, Taktakan Distric, Serang Banten. Therefore,Based on the result of this study, Terbang Gede at Sanggar Panggung Jati was exist since era of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, which is as the 7th developer of Sanggar Panggung Jati. On the other hand, the function development of Terbang Gede become religius entertaiment .meanwhile the model of Tabuhan Gede have a simple model which don‟t have other motif of Tabuhan Gese it self. | |||||||||
