Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan upaya untuk mengetahui Pola Asuh Orang Tua Tunggal pada Anak Remaja. Dilatar belakangi keresahan terhadap mudahnya terjadi perceraian di Desa Talagasari yang disebabkan berbagai faktor: ekonomi, perselisihan, perselingkuhan, dan sosial. Perceraian tersebut menyebabkan anak hanya mendapatkan didikan dari salah satu orang tuanya, sehingga yang paling merasakan dampak dari perceraian ini adalah sang anak, terutama ketidakstabilan psikis dan emosional. Pola asuh yang diterapkan oleh orang tua tunggal terhadap anak bisa bersifat otoriter, demokratis dan permisif. Selanjutnya dari ketiga pola tersebut ingin diketahui kecenderungan pola asuh manakah yang diterapkan oleh orang tua tunggal di Desa Talagasari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Guna mendapatkan informasi dengan menggambarkan fakta di lapangan kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan teori sosiologi yang dipadukan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Pola asuh paling banyak diterapkan orang tua tunggal di Desa Talagasari berupa pola asuh demokratis. Pada keluarga lain juga ditemukan pola asuh campuran, yaitu perpaduan antara pola asuh demokratis dan permisif. 2) Fungsi keluarga pada kedua pola asuh tersebut masih banyak yang berjalan dengan baik sehingga anak menjadi remaja yang tumbuh dengan psikis dan emosional yang cenderung stabil, selalu berperilaku baik, serta mengasihani dan menyayangi orang tuanya. 3) Ada beberapa disfungsi yang terjadi pada keluarga orang tua tunggal setelah perceraian yaitu disfungsi reproduksi, disfungsi pengaturan seksual, disfungsi sosialisasi, dan disfungsi penentuan status, namun tidak berpengaruh buruk pada kehidupan anak remaja.

| Additional Information: | This research is an effort to find out The Parenting Style of Single Parent toward the Teenager. Regarding the anxiety toward the ease of divorce in Talagasari village which caused by the various factors such as economic, dispute, infidelity, and social affair. The impact of the divorce is making the teenager only get educated by one of their parents, therefore the person who affected the most by divorce is the teenager, especially their psychological and emotional instability. The parenting style that applied by the single parent towards the teenager can make them become authoritarian, democratic, and permissive. Then from those three patterns mentioned the researcher is intended to find out the tendentious of parenting style that applied by the single parent in Talagasari village. This research used the qualitative method. In order to get the information by illustrating the evidence in the field then analyzed based on the Sociology theory which combined with the data collection technique through the observation, documentation, and interview. The results of this research are: 1) The parenting style that mostly applied by the single parent in Talagasari village is the democratic parenting style. Meanwhile in the other families is also found the combination of parenting style which is the combination of the parenting style of democratic and permissive. 2) The function of the family towards both of the parenting styles mentioned are commonly running well, therefore, the teenager grew up to become the teenager with a stable psychologically and emotionally, a good attitude, and they have sympathy and love their parents. 3) There are several dysfunctions that happened to the family of a single parent after the divorce such as the reproduction dysfunction, the sexual arrangement dysfunctions, socialization dysfunctions, and the status authority dysfunctions, but it has not the bad effect toward the life of the teenager. | |||||||||
