Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pola adaptasi yang dilakukan siswa dengan adanya peraturan tata tertib sekolah yang berlaku di SMA Negeri 44 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif analisis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru bidang kesiswaan, guru BK, guru sosiologi dan siswa yang ditentukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Temuan penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan teori Robert K. Merton yaitu teori struktur sosial dan anomi. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwa adaptasi sosial siswa di sekolah bersifat konformitas. Meskipun demikian, pelanggaran yang dilakukan siswa masih banyak terjadi di sekolah.Faktor penyebab terjadinya pelanggaran yaitu atas kesengajaan siswa seperti memakai celana ketat, rambut panjang dan keluar pada saat jam pelajaran dan terlambat karena siswa susah bangun pagi. Setiap pelanggaran tata tertib akan dikenakan sanksi yang bertujuan agar siswa jera untuk mengulanginya. Hal ini membuat siswa wajib mematuhi semua aturan yang di tetapkan dalam tata tertib sekolah dengan semaksimal mungkin. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya penanaman nilai dan norma sosial yang kuat sebagai tujuan budaya yang diterapkan melalui penerapan tata tertib sekolah sebagai cara dalam menumbuhkan sikap disiplin dan bertanggung jawab kepada siswa.

| Additional Information: | This study aims to find out the pattern of adaptation that students did with the existence of school rules that applied in 44 Senior High School. This study use the qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The subject of this study is the principal, deputy principal of student affairs, guidance and counseling teacher, sociology teacher, and the students who were determined with purposive sampling methods. The findings of this study were analyzed by social structure and anomy theory from Robert K. Merton. The result of this study shows that social adaptation for students in school is conformity. Nevertheless, the foul committed by students still happen a lot in school. Factors that cause of the foul are intentional such as wearing tight pants, long hair, go out when the class is still running, and come late to school because students feel so hard for wake up earlier. Every single foul from the school rules will get punishment to make the students learn and will not do it again. This make students obliged to comply with all of the school rules as maximum as possible. Beside that, this study also find the existence of strong values and social norms as a cultural reason which applied with school rules as the way of build the discipline and responsible attitude for the students. | |||||||||
