Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis untuk dikembangkan di sekolah, salah satunya di SMP Negeri 1 Saketi. Salah satu alternatif agar kemampuan komunikasi matematis dapat dikembangkan adalah dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif, dengan tipe TS-TS dan TTW dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW lebih baik daripada siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TS-TS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu randomized pretes-postes comparasion group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah selurush siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Saketi 2017/2018. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan dipilih dua kelas VIII, kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen I yang menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW dan kelas VIII E sebagai kelas eksperimen II yang menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TS-TS. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa instrumen tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Hasil penelitian memberikan kesimpulan bahwa: Kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW lebih baik daripada yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TS-TS.

| Additional Information: | This research is based on the low mathematical communication skills to develope in school, which is still considerd low student at SMPN 1 Saketi. Therefore, one lesson that can be used to develop mathematical communication skill is by using the cooparative leraning model type Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS) and type Think Talk Write (TTW) that supported the theory constructivism. This study aims to determine whether the mathematical communication of students who received study with the cooperative learning model type TTW is better than students who received study with the cooperative learing model TS-TS. This research used quasi-experimental methode with randomized pretets-postest comparasion group design. The study population was all students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Saketi. Sampling was done by purposive sampling by choosing two classes with the same characteristics. The samples were class VIII B as an experimental class I wich use the TTW learing, and VIII Eas an class II which use the TS-TS learning. The instrument in this study used a mathematical communication capability test instruments. The result of this study showed that: The ability of mathematical communications students who received the TTW learning is better than students who received the TS-TS learning. | |||||||||
