Abstract

Hajj pilgrimage arranged in the law number 13 of 2008 in this case which is the executor of the activity is the Directorate General of Hajj Umrah implementers under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. In because the implementation of the pilgrimage is regulated in the law, the House of Representatives is entitled to perform a function of supervision of government policies or budgets related to the implementation of the pilgrimage. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of supervision by the House of Representatives in the implementation of Hajj Indonesia in 2016. In this study, the researcher used the supervision theory of Makmur (2011: 193-195) to see what kind of surveillance techniques conducted by DPR RI in the implementation of the hajj of Indonesia 2016. The result of this research explains that the research conducted by the DPR is political, the DPR RI performs more dominant supervision in the working visit to the location of the pilgrimage, the lack of coordination between DPR and the Ministry concerned in the implementation of the pilgrimage after the working visit. The House of Representatives declared the problem of Hajj only to the object that he saw during his working visit.
