Abstract
ABSTRACT . Yulistiarti Melani. NIM. 2321110236 Thesis. Implementation of Computer Assisted Learning in IPA Subject Matter at SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon. Thesis Post Graduate, Instructional Technology Pogram, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Universitas, 2013 This research focused on implementation of computer assisted learning of pollution concept at SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon that including stages of the implementation process, students learning motivation, and mastery of pollution concept. This research intends to find comprehensive, deep, and clear information about the stages of implementation of computer assisted learning of pollution concept, motivation of student learning, and mastery of pollution concept of students at Class XI KR 2 SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon. The research method that used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. It emphasized on the meaning of observed events and information of the implementation of computer assisted learning; in IPA subject matter, especially about concept of pollution at Class XI KR 2 SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon. It was done through interview, observation, and documentation. The Conclusions of the research finding are that (1) the stages of implementation of computer assisted learning in IPA subject matter; especially about concept of pollution at Class XI KR 2 SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon conducted systematically and programmed that consist of preparation stage, actualization stage, and evaluation stage; (2) learning motivation of students in IPA learning of pollution concept at Class XI KR 2 SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon are high enough, it proved that students are interested in, enthusiast, glad, fun, seriously, focus, concentrative, and active in learning process; and (3) the mastery of pollution concept of students at Class XI KR 2 SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon are averagely good, either of learning process or result aspect because of implementation of computer assisted learning has be able to motivate and facilitate student learning. Program Pascasarjana, Program Studi Teknologi Pembelajaran, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, 2013 Penelitian ini difokuskan pada implementasi pembelajaran berbantuan komputer pada mata pelajaran IPA tentang konsep polusi di Kelas XI KR 2 SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon, semester genap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013, dengan subfokus-subfokus mencakup langkah-langkah proses implementasi pembelajaran berbantuan komputer, motivasi belajar siswa dengan pembelajaran berbantuan komputer, dan penguasaan konsep IPA siswa tentang polusi dengan pembelajaran berbantuan komputer tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh informasi yang jelas, mendalam, dan komprehensif tentang langkah-langkah proses implementasi pembelajaran berbantuan komputer, motivasi belajar siswa, dan penguasaan konsep siswa pada pembelajaran IPA tentang polusi di SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang berusaha mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis secara kritis dan faktual pelaksanaan atau implementasi pembelajaran berbantuan komputer pada mata pelajaran IPA tentang konsep polusi di SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon, semester genap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Usaha tersebut dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa (1) langkahlangkah proses implementasi pembelajaran berbantuan komputer pada mata pelajaran IPA tentang konsep polusi di kelas XI KR 2 SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon dilakukan secara sistematis dan terprogram meliputi langkah-langkah persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian dengan tahapan-tahapan kegiatan yang baik; (2) motivasi belajar siswa dalam pebelajaran berbantuan komputer pada mata pelajaran IPA tentang konsep polusi di kelas XI KR 2SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon itu cukup tinggi, terbukti para siswa tertarik, antusias, senang, serius, fokus, konsentrasi, dan aktif mengikuti proses pembelajaran; dan (3) penguasaan konsep IPA siswa tentang polusi dalam pembelajaran berbantuan komputer di Kelas XI KR 2 SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon rata-rata baik, baik dari segi proses maupun segi hasil pembelajaran, karena pembelajaran berbantuan komputer telah mampu menarik, memudahkan, dan memotivasi siswa belajar.
