Abstract

This research is proposed to improve writing skills beginning in the first grade of SD Negeri Sukadana in the process of learning lessons Indonesian language. This research in classroom action research which is done in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two teaching learning activities and one meeting for final test of cycle. The subject in this research is the first grade students of SD Negeri Sukadana Academic Year 2015/2016 which consists of 27 students. The instrument used in this research in the observation sheet of the students activity in the class, test writing skills beginning, student interview guide and documentation. The result of this study was obtained from each cycle as follows : in the first cycle the percentage of student activity reached 62.80%, while in the second cycle has reached 84.90%. the activity of teachers in the first cycle was 69%, while in the second cycle has reached 92.80%. Next the students learning outcomes in the first cycle there are 15 students showed the percentage of 55.56%, it indicates that there are still 12 students who have not reached KKM. In the second cycle, the researcher did repairment and the result showed that student has increased 88.90%, students ochieved mastery with an average value 76.30. from these result ini can be concluded that the used media images glow can improve students learning outcomes and activities of learning lessons Indonesia language.
