Abstract
The research objectives is to analyze,reviewing and to find out how much incoming did the melon farming fostered by Agriculture Department of Cilegon City,to discover whether the melon farming fostered by Agriculture Department of Cilegon City is feasible for a futher develoment,to analyze the melon farming Break Even Poin (BEP) through production volume BEP analyze and price of production BEP. The method used is Survey Method. Determination of the location is on purpose. Data used in this research is a primary data that been obtained from the interview and direct observation with melon farmer fostered by Agriculture Department of Cilegon City melon farmes assisted by the Department of Food Securty and Agriculture Cilegon City obtained from some literature or reading materials / libraries that can support the research. The results showed the incoming of melon farm in kota Cilegon seen from the analysis of Return Cost Ratio (R / C ratio) acerege is equal to 1,71 bigger than 1 which means melon farm builty by food and Agriculture Department of Cilegon City proper to be developed. It also shows that income in one production is profitable and break even poin (BEP) is achieved on BEP melon grade production volume of 7.050 Kg the value is not favorable and no loss.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji serta mengetahui besarnya pendapatan yang diperoleh usahatani melon binaan Dinas Kota Cilegon, mengetahui apakah usahatani melon binaan Dinas Pertanian Kota Cilegon layak untuk terus dikembangkan, menganalisis titik impas (BEP) usahatani melon melalui analisis BEP volume produksi dan BEP harga produksi.metode yang digunakan yaitu metode survey. Penetapan lokasi secara sengaja. Data yang digunakan adallah data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan observasi langsung dengan petani melon binaan Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian Kota Cilegon di peroleh dari beberapa literatur atau bahan bacaan/pustaka yang dapat mendukung penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pendapatan usahatani melon di Kota Cilegon dilihat dari analisis Return Cost Ratio (R/C rasio) rata-rata adalah sebesar 1,71 lebih esar dari 1 yang artinya usahatani melon binaan Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian Kota Cilegon layak untuk terus dikembangkan. Hal tersebut juga menunjukan bahwa pendapatan dalam satu kali produksi adalah menguntungkan dan break event poin (BEP) dicapai pada BEP volume produksi melon 7.050 Kg nilai tersebut pada kondisi tidak untung dan tidak rugi. | |||||||||
