Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi degradasi moral yang terjadi di Indonesia khususnya permasalahan degradasi moral pada siswa SMPN 5 Kota Serang seperti ditunjukkan melalui perilaku siswa yang berbicara kasar, rendahnya rasa hormat terhadap guru, bolos pada saat jam pelajaran, lemahnya mental siswa, terjadinya bullying, tidak menjaga keindahan lingkungan serta melanggar tata tertib sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) pelaksanaan kegiatan organisasi MPK (Majelis Permusyawaratan Kelas) 2) peran organisasi MPK (Majelis Permusyawaratan Kelas) 3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pembentukan kecerdasan moral melalui organisasi MPK (Majelis Permusyawaratan Kelas). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan moral dapat dibentuk melalui kegiatan organisasi MPK (Majelis Permusyawaratan Kelas) yaitu rapat perwakilan kelas, mengadakan pemilihan ketua OSIS, mengawasi kinerja OSIS, menilai Laporan Pertanggungjawaban (LPJ) OSIS dan ekstrakulikuler, serta peningkatan PHBS (Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat). Kecerdasan moral yang terbentuk pada kegiatan tersebut ialah berkembangnya nilai religius melalui kegiatan berinfaq dan solat dhuha berjamaah, dengan ikut serta dalam organisasi dapat membentuk nilai demokratis, nilai sosialitas, nilai gender, nilai keadilan, nilai kemandirian, nilai tanggungjawab, serta nilai daya juang. Sedangkan nilai penghargaan terhadap lingkungan dapat terbentuk melalui kegiatan PHBS (Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat). Faktor pendukung organisasi MPK (Majelis Permusyawaratan Kelas) yaitu pihak sekolah, orangtua, dan faktor motivasi. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya ialah tidak tersedianya ruang untuk organisasi MPK (Majelis Permusyawaratan Kelas) serta adanya pengaruh negatif dari teman.

Additional Information: | The background of this research is the moral degradation that occurred in Indonesia specifically moral degradation in Serang 5 Junior High School students as shown through the behavior of students who speak harshly, low respect for teachers, skipping during class hours, students' mental weakness, bullying, do not maintain the beauty of the environment and violate the school's overthrow. This study aims to find out 1) the implementation of MPK (Class Delegation Assembly) organizational activities 2) the role of the MPK organization (Class Delegation Assembly) 3) supporting and inhibiting factors in forming moral intelligence through the MPK organization (Class Delegation Assembly). The research method used in this study used a descriptive method and a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that moral intelligence can be formed through the activities of the MPK (Class Delegation Assembly) organization, namely class representative meetings, elects the student council president, oversee student council performance, assess the Student Council and extracurricular Liability Report (LPJ), and increasing PHBS (Clean and Healthy Lifestyle). The moral intelligence that is formed in these activities is the development of religious values through activities of investment, and the Dhuha prayer in congregation, by participating in organizations can form democratic values, the value of sociality, gender values, the value of justice, the value of independence, the value of responsibility, and the value of fighting power. While the value of respect for the environment can be formed through PHBS activities (Clean and Healthy Lifestyle). Factors supporting the organization of the MPK (Class Delegation Assembly) are schools, parents, and motivational factors. While the inhibiting factor is the unavailability of space for the MPK (Class Delegation Assembly) organization and the negative influence of friends. | |||||||||
