Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran sains di sentra bahan alam di TK Al-Qudwah Lebak-Banten pada kelompok B. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan kepala sekolah. Peneliti melakukan penelitian di sentra bahan alam kelas B (anggur, apel, manggis, jeruk, dan cherry). Objek penelitiannya adalah peran guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran sains di sentra bahan alam. Proses pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan (observasi), wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Dalam menganalisis data peneliti menggunakan model alir dari Miles and Huberman dengan langkah-langkah masa pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pemeriksaan atau pengecekan keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan tiga kriteria, yaitu ketekunan/keajegan pengamatan, triangulasi dan member check. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan empat temuan dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran sians di sentra bahan alam, yaitu peran guru sebagai pendamping, pembimbing, fasilitator, perencana dan evaluator. Proses pembelajaran menggunakan pijakan lingkungan, pijakan sebelum main, pijakan saat main, dan pijakan setelah main. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah percobaan/eksperimen, demonstrasi dalam kegiatan percobaan sederhana. Faktor pendukung yaitu tersediaannya alat dan media yang cukup memadai. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah mood anak yang berubah-ubah, anak kurang fokus, lokasi/area kegiatan pembelajaran sains di sentra bahan alam kurang luas sehingga kontrol gerak anak sedikit terbatas

Additional Information: This study aims to determine the role of the teacher in developing science learning in natural materials centers in Al-Qudwah Lebak-Banten Kindergarten in group B. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Research subjects were teachers and principals. Researchers conducted a study in the center of natural materials class B (grapes, apples, mangosteen, oranges, and cherries). The object of his research is the role of the teacher in developing science learning in the center of natural materials. The process of collecting data through observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. In analyzing the data, the researcher used the flow model from Miles and Huberman with the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Examination or checking the validity of the data of the researcher uses three criteria, namely persistence/constancy of observation, triangulation and member check. The results of this study reveal four findings in developing sians learning in the center of natural materials, namely the role of the teacher as a companion, mentor, facilitator, planner and evaluator. The learning process uses environmental footing, footing before playing, footing when playing, and footing after playing. The learning method used is experiment / experiment, demonstration in a simple experimental activity. Supporting factors are the availability of adequate tools and media. While the inhibiting factor is the mood of the child who changes, the child is less focused, the location / area of science learning activities in the center of natural materials is not broad enough so that the control of children's movement is limited.
